What is this?

When I picked up Beast... the previous owner had placed all the burners, grates etc in a box. Well, I just found this:

As you can see, it's the same width as the service compartment floor (which cleaned up nicely. A little rust, but I suppose I can live with that, for now.) The color is CLOSE to the color of the under-side of the service compartment floor.

Is this a Chambers part? And, if so... what the heck is it for? A drip pan of some sort, I am assuming but, where the heck does it go?

Thats the drip pan. Goes at the bottom of the broiler area, as far back across the back as it will go.
When you raise up the griddle, lil pieces of pancake will fall into it!

So, this came with the stove... YEAH! After getting a closer look at the grease and grime encrusted innards of the Beast, little things like this keep me happy. Yes, I'm easily amused... it's a GOOD thing!

Next step... remove all the pieces that I plan on having re-chromed. Another question... are the logo emblem, pilot cover and the strip that sits where the stove top and back-splash meet "chrome-able"?
